Service Description

This 10-hour weekend antenatal course takes place over two sessions: Saturday 10am until 4pm and Sunday 1pm to 5pm Topics covered include pregnancy, anatomy, hormones, stages of labour, and pain management. The class also covers postpartum issues such as postpartum healing, perinatal emotional health, relationship after baby, breastfeeding, sleep and babywearing. This class is co-facilitated by Christine Bliven (doula, CBI certified Childbirth Education instructor, babywearing consultant) and Angie Borzychowski (NCT certified Childbirth Education instructor, breastfeeding counselor and holistic sleep coach). The course costs 560 CHF per couple and is QualiCert certified, supplemental insurance should cover part of the course.
