Our Venue Rental Rates

The Village was designed as a space for many to enjoy. Whether you offer classes or events, or need a venue to celebrate a special event, The Village could be just the place!

The Classroom

Our Classroom is a multifunctional space suitable for classes, parties, workshops and other events. Rental rates vary based on whether instructors wish to use the space on a regular basis (i.e. weekly) or as a one-off service.

In general, the space is let on a 'cost per head' basis and includes refreshments (coffee/tea, including dairy/oat milk, sugar/sweetener, still and sparkling water, buscuits).

For regular users, hourly rental rates are as follows:
- 9 CHF per registrant per hour (min. 1 hour) when booking and marketing is carried out by the instructor.
- 12 CHF per registrant per hour (min. 1 hour) when booking and marketing is carried out by The Village.
- Set up and clean up time (up to 30 mins) is included.

The Lounge

Our comfortable lounge space is available for use and is suitable for smaller groups or one-to-one consultations. It includes space for up to 6 people to sit comfortably (plus a facilitator) as well as a table with four chairs. Our borrowing library of pregnancy, birth and parenting books is available to browse in the lounge.

The lounge is available to rent at a rate of 20 CHF per hour for small group or consultation services (min. 1 hour).

Communal Spaces

Connecting the lounge and classroom is our cozy coffee area, with comfortable seating, children's tables/chairs, a mini sofa (for littles), children's books and a play kitchen. This space is available to anyone who uses the venue.

We also offer a well-equipped kitchen with a full-sized fridge/freezer, sink, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and rubbish/recycling bins. Crockery is available for up to 12 people including cutlery, glasses, mugs etc.

Guest facilities are located off the coffee/kitchen area and a changing table is also available for use.

Private rental rates

For birthday parties and other private events, rates are:

- for 2 hour rental 160 CHF

- for 3 hour rental 225 CHF

- for 4 hour rental 280 CHF

- for 5 hour rental 325 CHF

Private rental includes access to the full space, as well as all resources available at The Village (coffee/tea etc, toys, crafting items etc). An additional 30 mins of set up/clean up time is included with each booking (15 mins before and after event).

Private Rental

Our space is well equipped with toys and play things to keep even the busiest little ones entertained. When hiring the space, not only would you have access to the lounge, classroom, kitchen and coffee area, but all of the play items too!

Planning a birthday party for your toddler or pre-schooler has never been easier! Direct access to our space will be provided through an app, and the functional and welcoming space will be ready for you to use as you wish, allowing you leave the stress and mess at home!
