Nothelferkurs Schweiz /Cours de Sauveteur Suisse/First Aid courses for the Swiss Driver’s License This certified first aid course is mandatory for anyone applying for a Swiss driver’s licence but is also ideal for drivers wishing to refresh their knowledge. It teaches essential life-saving measures to act confidently in medical emergencies and at the scene of a traffic accident. Course Content: Through interactive, hands-on scenarios, participants learn how to: Respond safely at the scene of an accident Recognise and assess dangers Call and communicate with emergency services Evaluate the condition of an injured person Perform resuscitation (BLS-AED) Wound care: control bleeding and how to apply a pressure bandage Burns The course follows current first aid guidelines and teaches a great deal of practical knowledge in a clear, simple and fun manner. Details: Target Group: first time driver’s licence applicants, current drivers, and individuals who need to restart the Swiss driver’s licence application process due to an unconverted foreign licence Duration: 10 hours over three evening sessions Certificate: Issued upon completion; valid for 6 years Requirements: None This 10-hour course is taught by HEALTHY AND SAFE AWAY FROM HOME (www.healthyandsafe.ch) and is held in English. Coffee/tea and light snacks will be provided. You're welcome to bring your dinner with you; a fridge and microwave are available for your use. The course fee is CHF 180 per person.
