I'm so excited to share that The Village Christmas Market will take place this year on Saturday 14 November 2026, and we'd love to have you join us as we follow on from the amazing efforts of Christine from LilyBee during previous years! An important goal of The Village is to build collaborations with and showcase small businesses within Switzerland, which are led by women! I'm hoping that this year's Christmas Market will help do that for us, by building up a community of like-minded women who work in a similar mindset of collaboration, positive connection and kindness. As in previous years, the back room will be set up with vendors' tables. The middle area will offer refreshments with tea/coffee, cakes etc. and, this year, the front will provide activities for children, so that they can be entertained while their parents shop! The cost of hosting a table at The Village Christmas Market is 75 CHF; once your application for a market stall is received, we will review whether your business is a good fit for the market and you will receive confirmation of your place before the end of September. At that point, a non-refundable deposit of 25 CHF will be required to secure your table. The balance of 50 CHF will be due the week before the market in November. Set up of stalls will be available early afternoon on Friday 13 November, and if it works for vendors, we will host an Apero on Friday evening, partly to offer parents a chance to shop without their little ones, but also so I can get to know all of the vendors better. Therefore, I'd be grateful if you could please indicate your availability to attend on Friday evening when you fill in the application form. This will only go ahead if it works for most of you though, so let me know! :) We also now have a little shop which is on display throughout the year at The Village, and by joining as a vendor at our Christmas market, you will be invited to host your goods for one month at our shop. Sinless Skincare was the first to try this out, and the display was gorgeous! If you'd like to put your items in our shop, please indicate which month you'd prefer (first and second choice) and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
